The 50 Mile Ruck

The Ruck itself will begin at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park on the Bike Path. We’ll walk through the night passing through Columbus, Grandville, The Ohio State University Campus, Clintonville, Worthington, and Westerville before reaching Sunbury Ohio where we will stop at the Ohio Fallen Heroes Memorial.

The majority of the route is along the Olentangy Ricer Bike Path.

The entire Ruck will take between 18 and 20 hours. We’ll start at 4:00pm and should end between 10:00am and 12:00pm

Rucking 50 miles in honor of a fallen soldier is a testament to sacrifice, resilience, and unity. Participants shoulder weighted packs, symbolizing the burdens carried by those who served. This challenging journey not only pays tribute to the courage of those who made the ultimate sacrifice but also fosters a sense of community among the walkers, each step echoing a commitment to remember and honor the legacy of our heroes. As we traverse the miles together, we reflect on their stories, ensuring they are never forgotten, and reaffirm our dedication to supporting the families they left behind. Join us in this meaningful challenge and stand together in remembrance.
